Open-Ear Design for All-Day Wear

The Philips WFL900/H uses an open-ear form that rests outside the ear canal, keeping ears clean and letting ambient sound through for situational awareness. At 27 g with a flexible titanium band that bends 360°, it stays secure during long work sessions or workouts without pressure or fatigue.

Bluetooth 5.3 Link and Dual Pairing

Bluetooth 5.3 delivers a stable connection up to 33 ft and supports simultaneous pairing to two devices, though audio plays from only one at a time. The boom microphone rotates 270° and uses DSP noise cancellation to isolate voice in noisy environments, but the mute function does not work with Skype or other third-party VoIP apps on Windows 10.

Battery Life and Latency Modes

The headset runs for 10 hours on a charge and offers two selectable modes: game mode at roughly 70 ms delay and music mode at about 220 ms delay. A 3.5 mm connector is also provided for wired use when wireless operation is not preferred.

What does the 70 ms game-mode latency mean during a video call?
