Over-Ear Gaming Headset with 7.1 Virtual Surround

The Picun G2 Grey is an over-ear gaming headset built for players who want immersive positional audio across multiple platforms. It connects via 2.4GHz wireless, Bluetooth 5.4, or a 3.5mm cable to PC, PS5, PS4, Switch and mobile devices. A retractable ENC microphone and memory-foam cushions support long sessions.

100-Hour Battery Life and Latency

Bluetooth mode delivers up to 100 hours of playtime with RGB lighting off, while 2.4GHz wireless runs for up to 4245 hours on a single charge. The headset can be used while charging, so marathon sessions never pause for power. A 2.4GHz link keeps latency as low as 5ms for competitive responsiveness.

Connectivity Limits and Wired Fallback

The 2.4GHz USB dongle provides the lowest latency but requires a free USB-A or Type-C port on the host device. Bluetooth 5.4 offers broad compatibility with phones and tablets yet cannot match the 5ms response time. The 3.5mm wired connection works everywhere with no battery drain, but it disables the virtual 7.1 surround processing.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.5 mm cable let me keep using the headset with an older controller that lacks wireless?

Yes, the 3.5 mm wired mode works with any device that has a standard headphone jack, so legacy controllers and consoles are supported without the dongle.

How can I confirm the 7.1 virtual surround is active on my PC?

Enable the 7.1 setting in the system sound control panel or the companion software; a test tone will cycle through each virtual channel to verify positioning.

Does the package include both the 2.4 GHz dongle and the 3.5 mm cable, or must I buy either separately?

The box contains the headset, a USB-A/Type-C 2.4 GHz dongle, a detachable 3.5 mm cable, a charging cable and the retractable ENC microphone; no extra purchase is required for any connection mode.
