Five-colour mechanical pencil set

The Pilot 31776 pack contains five G2 mechanical pencils in black, lime, purple, turquoise and periwinkle. Each pencil uses 0.7 mm lead and includes an integrated eraser. The set suits students, office workers and hobbyists who want a ready-to-use assortment of colours for writing or sketching.

Simple refill and colour identification

Removing the push-button cap gives direct access to the lead sleeve and eraser, so refilling takes only a few seconds. The colour-coded barrels match the supplied leads, reducing the chance of mixing diameters. No tools are required and the mechanism is the same across all five pencils.

Fixed 0.7 mm line width

The 0.7 mm standard suits general note-taking and diagramming but cannot produce finer detail or broader shading without changing pencils. Lead hardness is not selectable within the pack, so users needing harder or softer grades must purchase refills separately.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the .7 mm mechanical pencils advance lead smoothly after opening the pack?

Extend the lead on each of the five pencils and write a few lines; consistent, skip-free marks show the mechanism is working as intended.

What comes in the Pilot 31776 pack and do I need to buy extra lead or erasers separately?

The pack contains five G2 mechanical pencils in black, lime, purple, turquoise and periwinkle, each pre-loaded with .7 mm lead and an eraser, so nothing extra is required to start writing.

Which version of the Pilot 31776 should I choose if I want multiple colours in one purchase?

The listed pack of 5 already includes all five colours — black, lime, purple, turquoise and periwinkle — so a single pack gives you the full assortment.
