Ideal users and limitations

Suits anyone who wants a reliable pen for everyday writing tasks with a comfortable grip. Not suited for buyers who need refillable cartridges, multiple ink colours, or an erasable ink formulation.

Questions about this item

Does the Pilot 28901 pen need any special paper or refill to work?

No, it works on standard paper and is sold as a single stick pen with black ink already installed.

Can I use the 28901 alongside older Pilot refills or grip accessories?

This model is a complete stick pen; it does not accept separate refills or interchangeable grips from other Pilot lines.

How can I confirm the 28901 is writing as intended right after opening?

The needlepoint tip should lay down a bold, skip-free black line immediately, and the dimpled rubber grip should feel secure in hand.
