Everyday writing instrument

The Pilot 30006 Better Ballpoint is a retractable pen sold as a single dozen, suited for offices, classrooms and home desks where reliable blue ink is needed day after day. Its medium point produces a consistent line for notes, forms and signatures without requiring special paper or technique.

Stainless steel point and refillable body

A durable stainless steel tip resists wear and keeps ink flowing evenly, while the crystal-clear barrel lets you monitor the supply at a glance. The ribbed, nonslip grip reduces fatigue during long sessions, and the metal clip secures the pen to pockets or clipboards; because the pen is refillable, the barrel stays in service instead of being discarded.

Replaces disposable stick pens

Buyers who currently use basic throw-away ballpoints gain a sturdier tip, a comfortable grip and the option to refill rather than replace the whole unit. The improvement is worthwhile for anyone who writes enough to notice scratchy tips or hand strain, but it does not suit users who need fine-line precision, archival ink properties or a capped design.

Questions about this item

What type of refill does the Pilot 30006 Better Ballpoint Pen accept?

The Pilot 30006 is refillable with standard Pilot ballpoint refills. The stainless steel tip is part of the refill unit, so replacing the cartridge restores the original writing performance.

What are the barrel and grip materials on the Pilot 30006?

The barrel is crystal-clear plastic, and the grip is a ribbed, nonslip design moulded into the barrel for comfort and control during extended writing sessions.

How do you extend and retract the tip on the Pilot 30006?

Click the plunger on the top of the pen once to extend the stainless steel point; click it a second time to retract it. The metal clip stays fixed and does not act as the retraction mechanism.
