They suit students, office workers and anyone who writes or sketches daily. Refillable leads and erasers extend the usable life of each pencil.

Low-maintenance writing tool

No batteries or power draw are involved so thermals and noise are non-existent. The lightweight plastic bodies add negligible weight to a bag or pocket. Refillable components reduce waste by avoiding whole-pencil replacement. Simple mechanics keep the pencils reliable through regular use.

Questions about this item

How do I load the 0.7 mm HB leads into the Pilot 31776 mechanical pencil, and what step do people often miss?

Remove the cap, pull out the eraser to expose the lead chamber, drop in the 2.5 mm black leads, then push the eraser back firmly so it seats and advances lead correctly.

What parts of the Pilot 31776 will need replacing over time?

The 0.7 mm HB leads and the eraser under the cap are both refillable; swap leads when they run out and replace the eraser once it wears down.
