Five-pack Acroball pens for everyday writing

A pack of five Pilot 31861 Acroball ballpoint pens delivers black ink through a 0.7 mm fine point. Each pen uses a hybrid ink that blends ballpoint reliability with gel-like smoothness and fast drying. The retractable design and ergonomic grip suit long writing sessions at a desk or on the move.

Consistent flow through extended use

The tungsten carbide tip resists deformation and wear so the line width stays steady across many pages. Hybrid ink maintains its viscosity without skipping or blobbing during continuous writing. Refillable cartridges let the barrel stay in service once the original supply runs out.

Replaces disposable single pens and basic ballpoints

Offices or students who go through individual stick pens quickly gain a lower cost per unit and less plastic waste. The jump is worth it when a smoother, faster-drying line matters for notes, forms or signatures. Buyers who want a broader stroke or coloured inks will need a different model.

Questions about this item

Does the 0.7 mm hybrid ink dry quickly enough to avoid smudges during long writing sessions?

Yes, the hybrid ink combines ballpoint and gel properties for fast drying and smooth flow, reducing smudges even during extended use.

Are refill cartridges required separately, or can I use the pens straight from the 5-pack?

The pens arrive filled and ready to write; each is refillable via standard Pilot refills when the original ink runs out.

Will the tungsten carbide tip and ergonomic grip hold up if I alternate these with older metal-barrel pens?

The tungsten carbide tip resists deformation and wear, while the ergonomic grip maintains comfort when switching between different pen bodies.
