Industrial Jumbo Marker

The Pilot 45100 Super Color Jumbo is a refillable permanent marker built for heavy-duty marking on wood, plastic, metal, glass and paper. Its extra-broad chisel tip delivers dense, fast-drying marks for industrial labeling tasks. The low-odour, xylene-free ink formulation is waterproof once dry. A protective cap prevents the tip from drying out between uses.

Surface and Ink Constraints

The marker is designed for flat surfaces and the ink dries within seconds, limiting the time available for corrections or blending. The extra-broad chisel point creates wide strokes that are unsuitable for fine detail or small text. The xylene-free formulation reduces odour but the ink remains permanent and solvent-based, requiring ventilation in confined spaces.

Refillable Ink System

This marker uses a refillable reservoir compatible with Pilot Super Color Marker refill ink, sold separately. Refillability extends the service life of the barrel and reduces waste for high-volume users. Buyers who need a disposable, non-refillable marker or a finer point style should consider a different model.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the extra-broad chisel tip or a finer point for large industrial marking?

The extra-broad chisel tip creates dense, wide strokes that cover large areas on wood, metal, glass and plastic quickly, making it the right choice for big labelling jobs.

How fast does the ink dry on non-porous surfaces like metal or glass?

The low-odor, xylene-free formulation dries within seconds on virtually any flat surface, so marks are touch-dry almost immediately.

Does the marker use a proprietary refill system or a standard bottle?

It is refillable with Pilot Super Color Marker refill ink, which is sold separately and designed specifically for this marker.
