FriXion Fineliner Erasable Stick Pen

The Pilot PIL11485 is a 0.6 mm erasable gel pen sold as a new pack of twelve. Its thermo-sensitive ink erases cleanly with friction heat and does not bleed through standard paper.

Suited for everyday notes, planners.

Not intended for legal documents, cheques, or archival records that must remain permanent. Buyers who need refillable barrels or visible ink windows should consider other models.

0.6 mm bullet tip with erasable gel ink

The fine porous point delivers consistent black lines and the special ink formula allows repeated write-erase cycles. White cap and pocket clip complete the stick-style design.

Questions about this item

Does the pen need a special eraser to remove the 0.6 mm black ink?

No separate eraser is required; the built-in eraser on the pen removes the thermo-sensitive ink cleanly.

Can I refill the barrel with standard rollerball cartridges when the ink runs out?

The PIL11485 is not refillable, so a new pen is needed once the black gel ink is depleted.

How can I confirm the erasable gel ink is flowing correctly after opening the pack?

Write a short line on paper and erase it with the pen's own eraser; clean removal shows the ink is working as intended.
