Product identity

The Pioneer AVH-3500NEX is a 6.8" 1-DIN DVD receiver with a motorised touchscreen that slides out from a single dashboard slot. It targets drivers who want smartphone mirroring, satellite radio and physical media playback in one unit.

Interface limits

The 800 by 480 WVGA screen and wired USB link for CarPlay and Android Auto set the practical ceiling for video detail and phone projection. Bluetooth handles calls and audio streaming, but the specs do not quote a version number or codec support.

Installation checks

Verify that your dashboard opening fits a standard 1-DIN chassis and that the motorised screen has clearance to extend fully. Confirm the vehicle wiring harness can supply the required power and speaker leads, and that an antenna adapter is available for satellite radio reception.
