Pioneer AVH-3500NEX 6.8" 1-DIN DVD Receiver with Bullet Camera

6.8" motorized WVGA touchscreen

The Pioneer AVH-3500NEX is a 1-DIN digital media receiver with a 6.8" motorized touchscreen that resolves to 800 by 480. It plays CDs, DVDs and USB media while supporting high-resolution FLAC and WAV files. Built-in Bluetooth handles dual-phone connection for hands-free calls and wireless audio streaming. Alexa, wired CarPlay and wired Android Auto add voice control and smartphone integration.

Drivers who want smartphone mirroring

This unit suits motorists who need Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Alexa voice control in a single-DIN opening and still value CD or DVD playback. The 13-band EQ with DSP and bass boost provides detailed sound tuning for enthusiasts. Buyers who require wireless CarPlay or wireless Android Auto should look elsewhere, as the receiver only supports wired USB connections for those platforms. Installers needing a double-DIN chassis or a larger fixed display will not be served by this form factor.

13-band EQ with DSP and bass boost

The 13-band graphic equalizer combined with digital signal processing and bass boost is the key specification that determines whether this receiver matches an audio build. It allows precise frequency correction and bass management for component speaker systems or amplified setups. If a simpler tone control or no DSP is acceptable, other models may cost less.
