6.8" 2-DIN Multimedia Receiver

The Pioneer DMH-2000NEX is a double-DIN digital multimedia receiver with a 6.8-inch LED-backlit display. It targets drivers who want wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration plus Amazon Alexa voice control in a single dashboard unit. Built-in Bluetooth handles calls and audio streaming, while SiriusXM readiness adds satellite radio. The package includes a CMOS rear-view camera for parking assistance.

Capacity and headroom: 13-band EQ and 50 W x 4

A 13-band graphic equalizer and high-quality AKM chipset provide detailed audio tuning for most listening preferences. MOSFET 50 W x 4 output drives factory or modest aftermarket speakers cleanly at typical volumes. Six 4-volt pre-outs allow external amplifiers to be added when more power or additional zones are needed. The onboard amplifier reaches its limits with very low-impedance loads or high-SPL competition goals.

Build integration: iDatalink Maestro

iDatalink Maestro compatibility retains steering-wheel controls and vehicle data on supported cars. The receiver accepts the included back-up camera directly, freeing installers from sourcing a separate trigger wire. Hi-volt pre-outs simplify amplifier wiring without a line-output converter. Wired smartphone connection requires a USB data cable routed to the head unit, so plan cable path during installation.
