6.8" LED-Backlit Multimedia Receiver

The Pioneer DMH-W3000NEX is a 2-DIN digital multimedia receiver designed for drivers who want a 6.8-inch LED-backlit display and wireless smartphone integration. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto alongside built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calls and audio streaming. Amazon Alexa compatibility adds voice control for navigation and media. This unit suits vehicles with a standard double-DIN opening and includes a license-plate rear-view camera for parking assistance.

MOSFET 50W x 4 Amplification & Thermal Range

The receiver uses a MOSFET 50W x 4 amplifier with premium capacitors and a 13-band graphic EQ driven by an AKM chipset for sound shaping. The included LPCAMC-1 license-plate camera operates reliably from -30 to 70°C and meets IP67-68 waterproof standards for exterior mounting. Normal cabin use keeps the head unit within typical automotive temperature limits without requiring additional cooling measures.

Six 4-Volt Hi-Volt Pre-Outs & Camera Input

Six 4-volt Hi-Volt pre-outs allow connection to external amplifiers for front, rear and subwoofer channels without signal loss. The dedicated back-up camera input accepts the supplied CMOS camera, which provides a 155-degree view, 420 lines of resolution and 0.5 lux low-light sensitivity. SiriusXM-ready tuner support, WebLink compatibility and GUI customisation expand infotainment options while the quick-access menu keeps frequent settings reachable.

Questions about this item

How do I install the license plate camera and what step do people miss?

Mount the camera above the license plate using the supplied bracket, route the video cable to the receiver's rear-view camera input, and connect the reverse-trigger wire so the image appears automatically when shifting into reverse.

What maintenance will the camera need over time?

Clean the lens occasionally to remove road grime; the IP67-68 housing protects the CMOS sensor from water and dust between -30 °C and 70 °C, so no internal servicing is required.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the receiver?

The built-in MOSFET amplifier delivers 50 W × 4 channels, so extended high-volume playback will hit that power ceiling before the 13-band EQ or 4 V pre-outs become limiting factors.
