Compact marine subwoofer amplifier delivers 300 watts RMS with IP67 waterproofing and SAE J1171 ignition protection
The Pioneer GM-ME300X1C is a single-channel Class-D marine amplifier built for boats, ATVs, UTVs, and motorcycles. It delivers 75 watts RMS into a 4-ohm load with an IP67 weatherproof rating. SAE J1171 ignition protection and ABYC/NMMA certification make it safe for enclosed engine compartments. A rotatable badge keeps the logo upright in any mounting orientation.
The compact chassis fits tight spaces and uses a waterproof detachable connector for secure wiring. Top-mounted controls provide easy access to a variable low-pass filter with 21-step frequency selection and bass boost settings of 0, 6, or 12 dB. A microcomputer-controlled Protection Control System monitors internal temperature and automatically moderates input levels to prevent thermal shutdown during extended use.
This amplifier replaces lower-powered marine receivers or basic amplifiers that cannot drive a subwoofer clearly over wind, wave, and engine noise. The jump is worth it when you need dedicated mono power with certified ignition protection and a fully sealed IP67 enclosure. It is not suited for multi-channel speaker systems or installations requiring higher continuous RMS output than 75 watts.

The amplifier is rated for 75 watts RMS at 4 ohms; its Protection Control System monitors internal temperature and automatically reduces input level to prevent thermal shutdown during extended high-output use.
The Class-D design and compact IP67 enclosure have no fan; the built-in Protection Control System manages heat by moderating gain when temperatures rise, allowing continuous operation without audible cooling noise.
You need a 12 V DC supply with sufficient current capacity, a line-level RCA signal source, and a 4-ohm subwoofer; the unit includes a waterproof detachable power connector and RCA terminal covers for marine installation.
