1/3 CCD 960H Bullet Box Camera

The PISKEKAT camera uses a 1/3 Color Super HAD CCD sensor with an Effio-E processor to deliver HD 960H resolution at 1000TVL. It produces a 976 by 494 pixel image in NTSC format. The unit is designed for wall or ceiling mounting in indoor or outdoor settings.

Varifocal Auto Iris 6-60mm F1.6 Lens

A 6-60mm F1.6 varifocal auto iris lens allows the field of view to be adjusted between wide and narrow angles. The auto iris function regulates light intake automatically for consistent exposure. Analog modulation technology provides strong anti-interference performance.

Upgrading from Fixed Wide-Angle Cameras

This model replaces fixed-lens cameras that cannot zoom to distant points such as parking-lot entrances or warehouse aisles. The jump is worth it when identification at range is required and an analog 960H DVR is already in place. Buyers who need IP networking or higher-than-960H resolution should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the camera and adjust the 6-60mm varifocal lens?

Secure the bracket to a wall or ceiling, then rotate the zoom and focus rings on the 6-60mm F1.6 auto-iris lens while watching the OSD menu until the scene is sharp.

What parts will need replacement after long-term outdoor use?

The auto-iris mechanism and lens seals may degrade from weather exposure; the CCD sensor and Effio-E processor are solid-state and typically do not wear out.

At what resolution does the analogue output limit detail during continuous recording?

The NTSC output is fixed at 976x494 pixels (960H), so sustained recording cannot exceed 1000 TV lines of horizontal resolution.
