120W Asus laptop charger

This 19V 6.32A AC adapter replaces Asus PA-1121-28 and A15-120P1A units. It fits models including FX504, N750, G50, N550-JK, N550-JX, ZX53-VW, GL551-J, GL552-VW, GL553-V, GL752-VW and GL753-VE. The barrel connector measures 5.5 x 2.5mm.

100-240V input range

The adapter accepts mains voltages from 100V to 240V at 50-60Hz, so it works worldwide with a suitable plug cord. Maximum output is fixed at 19V 6.32A for 120W total. It cannot supply the higher wattage required by 150W or 180W Asus chargers.

120W continuous capacity

The unit delivers up to 120W for compatible Asus laptops drawing 19V at 6.32A. Systems that demand 150W or 180W will exceed this adapter's headroom and should use a higher-rated supply. Built-in protections guard against short circuit, over-current, over-voltage and over-heat.

Questions about this item

Is this the only 120W 19V 6.32A version or are there other capacities?

This adapter is a single 120W unit rated at 19V 6.32A. The listing notes it cannot replace 150W or 180W chargers, so choose it only if your Asus laptop requires exactly 120W.

What does the 120W rating deliver when the adapter is connected to my laptop?

The 120W rating is the maximum continuous output the brick can supply at 19V and 6.32A. Your laptop will draw only the power it needs up to that limit, so it runs and charges at the same speed as the original PA-1121-28 or A15-120P1A.

Does the 5.5 x 2.5mm barrel connector limit which Asus models I can use it with?

The 5.5mm outer and 2.5mm inner diameter matches the Asus PA-1121-28 and A15-120P1A tip. It fits the listed FX504, N750, G50, N550, GL551, GL552, GL553, GL752 and GL753 models that use this exact connector and 120W input.
