2U Blank Rack Mount Panel Spacer

The PISKEKAT panel is a 2U blank spacer designed for 19-inch server rack enclosures and network cabinets. It occupies two rack units of vertical space while providing a clean front appearance. The unit is sold as a pack of two pieces for symmetrical installations.

Vented alloy steel construction for airflow

The vented pattern allows air to pass through the blank space, helping maintain front-to-rear cooling paths in populated racks. Builders who need a solid panel to block airflow completely should look at a different design. Installers requiring tool-less mounting or integrated cable management features will not find them here.

19 x .4 x 3.5 inch alloy steel dimensions

Each panel measures 19 inches wide, 0.4 inches deep and 3.5 inches high, matching the 2U form factor precisely. The alloy steel body is finished in black for a uniform look inside the cabinet. These dimensions determine whether the spacer aligns with adjacent equipment and rack rails.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 2U blank panel or a different height for my rack?

Choose the 2U height when you need to cover a 3.5-inch vertical space in a 19-inch rack; other heights cover different unit sizes.

What does the 0.4-inch thickness mean once the panel is installed?

The panel adds only 0.4 inches of depth, leaving maximum room behind it for cables or airflow.

How does the 19-inch width relate to standard rack mounting?

The 19-inch width matches the standard rack opening, so the panel bolts directly to the front rails of any 19-inch enclosure.
