Galaxy S22 Ultra USA charging port replacement

This new PISKEKAT part replaces the USB Type-C charging dock flex cable on the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G USA version SM-S908U or SM-S908U1. The 6.8 inch 2022 model receives a tested ribbon and connector board that restores charging and data function. A complete tool set is included for the repair.

Fits only the USA SM-S908U or SM-S908U1 model

Owners of the Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G USA version with model number SM-S908U or SM-S908U1 can use this flex cable. It does not fit the standard 6.1 inch S22, nor other 6.8 inch S22 Ultra regional variants. Buyers who cannot confirm the exact SM-S908U model number on their device should not purchase this part.

Model number SM-S908U

The single specification that determines fit is the phone's model number printed on the box or in settings. Only units showing SM-S908U or SM-S908U1 accept this connector. Any other model designation means the flex cable will not align or function.

Questions about this item

How much heat or power does the SM-S908U charging port flex cable draw when the Galaxy S22 Ultra is charging all day?

The flex cable itself is a passive connector; it carries whatever current the phone and charger negotiate and adds no measurable heat or power draw of its own.

What tools or parts must I already have to install this SM-S908U USB-C charging port board on my Galaxy S22 Ultra 6.8"?

The package includes a set of repair tools, but you will still need a heat source to soften adhesive, tweezers, and the skill to disassemble the phone without damaging the display or battery.

Will this SM-S908U charging port flex cable work if I keep my original Galaxy S22 Ultra 6.1" motherboard and only swap the port?

No — this part is tested only for the USA version SM-S908U and SM-S908U1; it does not fit the 6.1" S22 or other regional variants.
