Replacement for Dell Latitude 7280 7290 7380 7390

This new PISKEKAT DJ1J0 battery replaces the original 42Wh 11.4V 3-cell pack in Dell Latitude 12 7280 7290, Latitude 13 7380 7390 and Latitude 14 7480 7490 series notebooks. It also fits Dell P28S P28S001 models. The package includes the battery, two screwdrivers and an instruction sheet. It does not fit the Latitude 7390 2-in-1 series.

Sustained output with built-in circuit protection

The pack uses American high-end cells and a low-power design to deliver steady voltage during extended work, video playback or gaming sessions. Integrated circuitry guards against overcharging, over-discharging and short-circuits so the cells maintain consistent output over long periods rather than only in short bursts.

Low heat and stable power draw in normal use

The protection circuit and low-power architecture keep the battery running cool and quiet during typical office tasks or media consumption. Steady current delivery avoids sudden spikes that stress the laptop's charging system, contributing to reliable day-to-day operation.

Questions about this item

Does the 11.4 V 42 Wh battery generate noticeable heat or noise during all-day use?

The 3-cell lithium-ion pack has no moving parts and runs silently; its built-in circuit protection limits temperature rise during continuous operation.

Which Dell Latitude models must I already own for this DJ1J0 pack to fit?

It replaces the original battery in Latitude 12 7280 and 7290, Latitude 13 7380 and 7390, Latitude 14 7480 and 7490, and P28S or P28S001 notebooks — but not the Latitude 7390 2-in-1.

Will the included screwdrivers let me swap the battery on an older Latitude E7280 without extra tools?

Yes, the package supplies two screwdrivers and an instruction sheet, so the 3-cell unit can be installed on an E7280 or E7480 using only the provided hardware.
