PISKEKAT M7WP-MIC Outdoor Microphone

The PISKEKAT M7WP-MIC is a waterproof outdoor microphone designed for security camera systems. It connects to compatible IP network cameras and PTZ cameras that feature a dedicated audio interface. This accessory adds sound capture to video surveillance setups. The unit is built to withstand outdoor conditions while recording audio.

Upgrade for Cameras Lacking Built-In Audio

This microphone replaces the absent or insufficient internal audio of a network camera. The upgrade is worth it when the camera body has an audio input port but no microphone of its own. It also helps when the original microphone has failed or cannot cover the required pickup range. The device connects directly to the camera's audio interface for immediate use.

Sustained Outdoor Operation

The waterproof housing protects the microphone during continuous exposure to rain and moisture. Audio capture remains steady throughout long recording sessions without overheating or signal loss. The unit draws power through the camera connection, so there is no separate supply to manage. Performance stays consistent as long as the host camera remains powered and recording.
