300 Mbps Dual-Band USB Adapter

This USB adapter connects Intel or AMD PCs and Raspberry Pi boards to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n networks at up to 300 Mbps. It includes dual 5 dBi antennas and supports both infrastructure and ad-hoc modes. Security covers WEP 64/128 bit, WPA, WPA2, 802.1x and 802.11i plus Cisco CCS V1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 compliance.

Suited for Linux and Windows desktops.

The adapter runs on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10 and 11 plus MX Linux, Manjaro, Mint, Ubuntu, Lubuntu, openSUSE, RedHat, Fedora, CentOS, Kali and Raspbian. It does not support macOS. It will not work with digital media players, DVRs, NAS units, game consoles or security cameras.

Handles everyday wireless throughput.

The 300 Mbps link rate is adequate for web browsing, streaming and light file transfers on compatible networks. It cannot reach the higher throughput of newer Wi-Fi standards. Buyers who need faster wireless speeds or Mac compatibility should look elsewhere.
