Balanced XLR Cable Pair

This PISKEKAT two-pack supplies two 6-foot male-to-female XLR cables built with 22AWG oxygen-free copper conductors and 98% copper braid shielding. The triple-shielded, PET-braided jacket resists EMI and RFI while surviving more than 10,000 bend cycles and 5,000 insertion cycles. Alloy metal connectors operate from -4 to 194 degrees Fahrenheit for secure, durable connections in studio or live settings.

Studio and Stage Users

Engineers wiring microphones, mixing boards, preamps, patch bays, speaker systems or stage lighting will appreciate the plug-and-play balanced connection and high-fidelity signal path. Installers needing digital audio protocols, multipin connectors or cable runs longer than six feet should look elsewhere.

Six-Foot Length Constraint

Each cable measures exactly six feet end to end, so the reach between rack-mounted gear, floor-standing speakers or podium microphones must fit within that distance. Measure your signal path before ordering; no extension or custom-length option is included.

Questions about this item

What diameter rack opening does the 6.5 mm cable need to pass through?

The cable outer diameter is 6.5 mm, so any grommet or cutout larger than that will let the braided jacket slide through cleanly.

Which way round do the male and female 3-pin XLR connectors go when wiring a microphone to a mixer?

Plug the male end into the microphone output and the female end into the mixer input; reversing them leaves the signal path open.

How often should the 22 AWG oxygen-free copper conductors be inspected after repeated touring use?

The cable is rated for 10,000 bend cycles and 5,000 plug cycles, so a visual check of the alloy connectors and braid every few months is sufficient.
