Distance and Speed Limits

Single-mode fiber at 1310nm supports a 35 km link at 100 Mbps full duplex, while the twisted-pair side remains capped at 100 Mbps. Flow control follows IEEE 802.3x, and the converter will fall back to half-duplex when connected to a hub or legacy device. No gigabit or multi-mode operation is provided.

SC Single-Mode 35 km Interface

The fiber port uses an SC receptacle rated for 35 km with launch power between -15 and -8 dBm and receive sensitivity of -34 dBm. Buyers needing multi-mode fiber, ST connectors, or longer single-mode reaches such as 50 or 60 km must select a different model.
