The unit then delivers data and power to a remote 802.3af/at compliant device. It suits installers needing long-distance IP camera or wireless access point deployment.

Installation Notes

The metal enclosure supports wall mounting or DIN rail attachment with an optional kit. Auto-negotiation and auto-MDI/MDI-X on the 10/100BASE-TX RJ45 port remove the need for crossover cables. Four LED indicators display power, link, PoE input and long-reach link status. A common issue is exceeding the 1522 byte maximum frame size which can interrupt traffic.
