8-Port 60W Ultra PoE Injector Hub

The PLANET UPOE-800G is an 8-port Gigabit Ultra PoE managed injector hub designed for network installations requiring high-power delivery over Ethernet cabling. It accepts data on eight RJ45 input ports and delivers both data and power on eight corresponding output ports. A dedicated management port allows configuration and monitoring. The unit supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 4-pair Ultra PoE standards with a total power budget of 400 watts.

Check AC power and port count before ordering

Verify that your site provides 100 to 240V AC at 50 or 60 Hz with capacity for up to 6.5A draw and 520 watts maximum consumption. Ensure you have eight available data-source ports to connect to the injector inputs and eight powered-device endpoints for the output ports. The metal enclosure uses three internal fans for ventilation, so confirm adequate airflow space in the mounting location. The management port requires a free switch port for out-of-band access.

Suits high-density PoE deployments needing 60W per

This injector hub suits installers powering 802.3bt-class devices such as PTZ cameras, wireless access points or LED lighting where each endpoint demands up to 60 watts across four pairs. It is not for buyers who need more than eight powered ports or a total PoE budget exceeding 400 watts. It is not for setups that rely solely on 2-pair 30-watt PoE+ and require no Ultra PoE capability. It is not for environments that cannot accommodate active fan cooling or a 520-watt AC load.

Questions about this item

What cables and power cords come with the UPOE-800G, and what must I supply?

The unit provides eight RJ45 data input ports, eight RJ45 data-plus-power output ports and one RJ45 management port; you must supply all Ethernet patch cables and the AC mains cord for the 100-240V 6.5A inlet.

Should I choose the 60 W per-port Ultra PoE mode or the 30 W 802.3at/af mode for my devices?

Use the 60 W 4-pair Ultra PoE setting for devices that require up to 60 watts at 54 V; use the 30 W 2-pair 802.3at/af setting for standard PoE+ or PoE devices, staying within the 400 W total budget.

What does the 400 W PoE budget mean when all eight ports are loaded?

The 400 W budget allows up to 60 W on each of the eight ports simultaneously, so you can power eight 60 W Ultra PoE devices at once without exceeding the injector's maximum output.
