Wired Stereo On-Ear Headset

The HP EncorePro 77T26AA is a wired stereo headset with an on-ear binaural design. A noise-cancelling microphone filters background sound for clearer calls. The black ear-cup style suits office and contact-centre environments. It connects through a standard wired interface for immediate use.

Suited for desk-based voice work.

This headset fits professionals who spend long hours on calls at a fixed workstation and want a lightweight on-ear fit. The wired connection removes any concern about battery life or pairing. Buyers who need freedom of movement or a headset they can pair with a smartphone should look at something else.

Noise-cancelling microphone for call clarity

The built-in noise-cancelling microphone is the specification that determines whether this model matches the requirement. It reduces ambient noise so the caller's voice comes through clearly in busy offices. If the workspace is quiet or the microphone quality is not a priority, the feature adds no value.

Questions about this item

Does this Plantronics 77T26AA headset need a separate USB adapter or sound card to function?

The headset connects directly through its wired cable, so it works with any device that provides a matching stereo headset port — no extra adapter or sound card is required.

Can I keep using my older analogue desk phone that only has a single headset socket with this binaural on-ear model?

Yes, the wired binaural design plugs into a standard headset port, letting you use the noise-cancelling microphone and stereo ear-cups on legacy desk phones that accept a single connector.

How can I confirm the noise-cancelling microphone is active after I plug the headset in?

Make a test call or recording; if the person on the other end hears your voice clearly while background office noise stays muted, the microphone is working as intended.
