Wireless earbuds for daily listening

The Plantronics BackBeat GO 3 earbuds use Bluetooth 3.0 to pair with phones, tablets or laptops for cable-free music and calls. Their in-ear fit and 6 mm drivers deliver stereo sound across a 20 Hz to 20 kHz range with 102 dB/mW sensitivity. A sweat-resistant coating and comfort-fit eartips make them suited to workouts and commutes alike.

Six-and-a-half hour playback window

A full charge provides up to 6.5 hours of continuous audio before the battery needs recharging. When not in use the earbuds remain ready for up to 336 hours in standby mode. Noise-isolating eartips help block background sound so volume can stay lower during extended sessions.

Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity

The headset relies on Bluetooth 3.0 with HFP, HSP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles for wireless audio and hands-free calls. Devices that only support newer Bluetooth versions may still pair, but the link will operate at the 3.0 feature set. Buyers who need aptX, multipoint pairing or USB-C charging should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Does the Bluetooth 3.0 connection drain the battery quickly during all-day use?

The rechargeable battery gives up to 6.5 hours of continuous listening and up to 336 hours on standby, so the Bluetooth 3.0 link is designed for a full day without recharging.

What device do I need to pair these earbuds with for them to work?

Any Bluetooth 3.0 device that supports HFP, HSP, A2DP or AVRCP profiles will pair and stream audio to the earbuds.

Will the 6mm drivers and 102dB/mW sensitivity still sound clear when paired with an older Bluetooth 3.0 phone?

Yes, the 6mm drivers and 102dB/mW sensitivity deliver powerful audio over the Bluetooth 3.0 link, and the earbuds support the standard HFP, HSP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles used by older phones.
