Plantronics D100A-M Savi Adapter

The Plantronics D100A-M is a USB Bluetooth adapter built for DECT 6.0 wireless headsets. It targets office workers who need a certified Microsoft Lync connection for calls and conferences. The device pairs a Savi headset directly to a PC without extra base-station hardware. Buyers who want a generic Bluetooth dongle for phones, speakers or keyboards should look elsewhere.

Capacity and headroom

The adapter handles a single DECT 6.0 headset link for voice-grade audio and call control. It runs out when a second headset or a non-Savi Bluetooth device is required because the firmware only supports the proprietary Savi pairing. Multi-headset deployments or generic Bluetooth profiles are not supported by this model.

Questions about this item

Will the D100A-M adapter work with my existing Plantronics D100 headset?

The D100A-M is not compatible with the D100 or D100-M models, so it will not function with those headsets.

How can I confirm the USB Bluetooth adapter is operating correctly after plugging it in?

The device is tested working; once connected, it should be recognised by Microsoft Lync and show an active link to a paired DECT 6.0 headset.
