Mobile Phone Station

The Plantronics Elara 60 is a mobile phone station designed for professionals who move between smartphone and desk environments. It lets you transfer an active call from your phone to the station without interruption when you reach the office. The system works with both Android and iOS devices and requires no service provisioning or extra wiring. Simply plug it into a power outlet, pair your mobile phone, and it is ready to use.

Build and Connectivity

The station comes in a black finish and draws power from a standard wall outlet, keeping the desktop free of additional cables. Your smartphone connects wirelessly via Bluetooth, while the unit itself stays tethered only to mains power. This arrangement means you can place the station where it suits your workflow without routing extra cords across the desk. The design supports both wired and optional multi-coil wireless charging so the phone gains charge while the call continues.

Charging and Accessories

While on a call your Android or iOS smartphone automatically charges through the station’s wired connection or the optional multi-coil wireless pad. This integrated charging removes the need for a separate charger and cable during long conversations. The package includes the station and the necessary power supply in a single pack. No additional software installation or configuration steps are required beyond the initial Bluetooth pairing.

Questions about this item

How does the Elara 60 connect to a smartphone, and what does that link limit?

It pairs by Bluetooth, so call audio and controls stay within standard Bluetooth range and bandwidth.

What does the Elara 60 need on a desk to sit and operate?

A flat surface near a mains socket for its power adapter; the unit itself has no mounting holes or brackets.

What is the correct order to set up the Elara 60 so the phone charges and calls transfer?

Plug the station into power first, then pair the smartphone; skipping the power step leaves the charger inactive.
