On-Ear Headset with 40mm Drivers

The Plantronics K33137 is a wired on-ear headset built around 40mm drivers that deliver deep bass and a wide dynamic range. It is designed for students and educators who need clear audio for classroom learning, testing and multimedia lessons. The 3.5mm gold-plated plug works with any device that offers a standard headphone jack.

9-Foot Cord and Adjustable Fit

A robust 9-foot cable gives freedom to move around a desk or lab station without pulling the source device. Flexible earcups rotate for single-sided monitoring so a teacher can hear the room while audio plays. The padded headband and plush sealed earpads adjust to fit a wide range of head sizes for extended sessions.

Sustained Comfort and Safe Volume

Passive noise isolation from the sealed earpads keeps external sound out, letting the driver output stay at or below 94dB for safer long-term listening. The lightweight frame and soft-touch materials reduce pressure during multi-hour use. Durable construction resists daily wear in shared environments.

Questions about this item

How long can I listen at the 94 dB maximum before it becomes a hearing-safety concern?

The 94 dB limit is set for safe listening during typical classroom sessions; continuous exposure at that level should follow standard occupational-health guidelines for duration.

Does the 32 ohm impedance and 9-foot cord cause noticeable heat or power draw during all-day use?

The passive 32 ohm design draws minimal power from the source device and produces no heat, while the 9-foot cord adds no active circuitry that would warm up.

What device connector must I already have for the gold-plated 3.5 mm plug to work?

Any device with a standard 3.5 mm audio jack — laptop, tablet, phone or desktop — will accept the gold-plated plug directly.
