UKELALA U2 On-Ear Headset
The UKELALA U2 is a wired on-ear headset designed for children and students using Chromebooks, laptops, tablets or phones. It weighs 0.222 kilograms and folds flat for transport between home and school. The 3.5 mm connector works with any device that provides a standard analogue audio jack.
3.5 mm Analogue Connection Limits
Audio quality and maximum volume depend entirely on the host device's built-in DAC and amplifier because the headset has no digital processing of its own. The 32 ohm impedance and 40 mm drivers are easy to drive, but very low-power outputs may not reach loud levels. The 1.5 metre cable tethers the listener to the device and cannot be replaced if damaged.
Foldable Plug-and-Play Setup
No software or drivers are required; simply insert the 3.5 mm plug into the headphone jack. The folding hinges and stainless-steel sliders reduce the footprint for storage in a backpack. The most common issue is cable strain near the plug or ear cup after repeated bending, which can cause intermittent sound on one side.
