This new conical soldering tip belongs to the Plato ET series and measures 0.4 mm wide by 34.5 mm long. It is designed for precision soldering tasks requiring a fine point. The tip fits Weller handpieces including models EC1201A, EC1204A, PES50, PES51, WCC101 and WEP 70. It also works with Weller stations WD1, WD2, WE1010, WE1010EDU, WE1010NA, WES50, WES51, WES51PU and WESD51PU.

Compatibility with Weller handpieces and stations

The single specification that decides fit is the ET series designation combined with the 0.4 mm diameter. Only handpieces and stations listed in the manufacturer data accept this tip; other Weller or third‑party models will not seat correctly. Buyers who need a different tip geometry or a larger diameter cannot use this part.

Thermals, noise and power draw
