1/1400 Scale U.S.S. Cerritos Model Kit

This Polar Lights kit reproduces the California-class starship NCC-75567 from Star Trek: Lower Decks (2020-2024). It contains 50 parts molded in translucent plastic for custom lighting. The finished model measures approximately 15 inches long and includes a dome base with a metal support rod.

Assembly and Display Characteristics

Skill Level 2 requires glue and paint, which are not included, so builders should plan for adhesive curing time before handling. The injected translucent plastic allows internal illumination if a light source is added later. Water-slide decals provide the authentic markings seen on the filming miniature.

Compatibility Check Before Ordering

This is a static display model, not a toy with moving features or electronic components. Buyers who want a pre-painted or snap-together replica should look elsewhere. Verify you have modeling cement, paint, and basic hobby tools before starting the build.

Questions about this item

Does the translucent plastic kit generate any heat or noise when displayed with internal lighting?

The model is a static 50-part plastic kit with no electronics, so it produces no heat, noise or power draw once assembled.

Which glue and paint must I supply to complete the 50-part Cerritos kit?

Cement is required and paint is optional; neither is included in the box.

Will the 15-inch assembled Cerritos fit on the same shelf as my other Star Trek models?

At roughly 15 inches long the finished ship occupies a moderate footprint comparable to other mid-size display models.
