Product Purpose

This lighting kit adds illumination to the Polar Lights 1/1000 scale USS Enterprise NCC-1701 model from the Star Trek Strange New Worlds series. It is designed for adult collectors and hobby enthusiasts who want to enhance their assembled kit with factory-engineered lighting effects.

Capacity and Limits

The kit provides 38 LED lights that illuminate key areas of the starship including colored clear parts and motorised bussard fans. An on/off switch controls the system while a hidden plug-and-play circuit board requires no soldering. The unit runs on three AA batteries which are not included with the kit.

Thermals Noise and Power

Battery operation keeps power draw low and eliminates the need for external wiring or transformers. The concealed circuit board and motorised fans run quietly during normal display use. No heat management is required for this low-voltage lighting system.

Questions about this item

Will the 38 LED lights and motorised bussard fans fit my existing 1/1000 scale Enterprise NCC-1701 kit?

The kit is engineered for the 1/1000 scale USS Enterprise NCC-1701 from the 2022 Strange New Worlds series, so the 38 LEDs and fan motors align with that model's mounting points and clear parts.

How can I verify the lighting kit is functioning correctly once installed?

Flip the on/off switch; all 38 LEDs should illuminate and both bussard collectors should rotate smoothly without solder joints to troubleshoot.

Does the box contain everything needed to power the 38 LEDs and motors, or must I buy batteries separately?

The kit includes the plug-and-play circuit board, coloured clear parts and hardware, but three AA batteries are required and are not supplied.
