1/1000 Scale U.S.S. Enterprise Snap Kit

This Polar Lights kit reproduces the refit U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701 from the 1982 film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. It is an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and fans of the franchise. The snap-together design requires no paint or cement to complete.

Snap Assembly Limits Detail and Durability

The forty parts connect by friction rather than glue, which speeds construction but restricts how finely panel lines and surface detail can be rendered. Decals adhere to bare plastic, so repositioning them risks tearing the artwork. The finished model is intended for display rather than repeated handling.

Check Space and Skill Level Before Buying

The assembled ship measures approximately twelve inches long and includes a base with a ball joint for angled presentation. Verify that your display area accommodates this length and the base footprint. The kit is rated Skill Level 2, so builders should be comfortable following a multi-step illustrated guide and applying small decals accurately.
