Polaroid PIXPRO H15 compact camera

The Polaroid PIXPRO H15 is a new compact point-and-shoot camera built around a 44MP CMOS sensor. It captures still images at 44 megapixels and records video at 1080P resolution. A 16x digital zoom and optical image stabilisation help frame distant subjects while reducing blur from hand movement.

Suits children and casual beginners

This camera suits young users and first-time photographers who want a simple, pocket-sized device for everyday snapshots and vlogging. Buyers who need interchangeable lenses, manual exposure control, raw file output or advanced low-light performance should look at a different class of camera.

Easy to start shooting

Power on, select auto mode and press the shutter; the autofocus locks when the frame turns green. A built-in flash offers fill light, and a tripod socket allows steadier long shots. The 16x digital zoom is electronic only, so image quality drops at full extension.

Questions about this item

What storage card does the 44MP Polaroid PIXPRO H15 need to save photos and videos?

The camera records 44MP photos and 1080P videos in AVI format, so a microSD card is required to store the files.

Can the 16X digital zoom on the PIXPRO H15 be used with a tripod for steadier long-distance shots?

Yes, the camera has an external tripod interface that works with standard tripods to stabilise the 16X zoom.

How can I confirm the autofocus has locked before taking a 44MP photo?

Half-press the shutter button; when the focus frame changes from yellow to green, the autofocus has locked and you can press fully for the shot.
