EncorePro 520 Binaural Headset

The EncorePro 520 is a wired binaural headset with a 3.5 mm mini-phone connection. It uses an over-the-head, on-ear design with supra-aural cushions. The headset targets call-centre and hybrid workers who need stereo audio for voice calls on a PC.

20 Hz to 10 kHz Frequency Response

The driver response spans 20 Hz to 10 kHz, a range tuned for speech intelligibility rather than full-range music reproduction. The 3.5 mm analogue interface relies on the host device for conversion and power, so audio quality varies with the sound card or motherboard codec used.

Quick Disconnect Cable and Placement

A 2.58 ft cable ends in a quick-disconnect plug that separates from the headset for fast removal. The fixed on-ear fit may press on glasses arms during long shifts, and the short tether limits distance from the PC unless an extension cable is added.

Questions about this item

Which EncorePro 520 variant fits my PC port?

What does the 20 Hz to 10 kHz range mean for call quality?

It covers the core voice band, giving clear speech reproduction while keeping background noise outside that range from being amplified.

How does the 3.5 mm wired connection limit use with modern laptops?

It requires a 3.5 mm headset jack or a USB audio adapter; there is no native USB-A or USB-C plug on this 520 QD version.
