Medium Room Teams Kit

This Poly Studio USB kit is built for medium-sized meeting rooms that run Microsoft Teams or Zoom. The package combines a 4K UHD video bar with the GC8 touch controller, a wall mount, a table stand and all required cables so the room can be deployed from a single box.

Teams Rooms needing one-touch join

The kit suits organisations that want a certified Microsoft Teams Rooms experience with a dedicated controller for one-touch join and calendar awareness. It is not for huddle spaces that only need a simple USB bar, nor for large auditoriums that require multiple cameras or ceiling microphones.

Wall or table mounting in minutes

The video bar weighs little enough for one person to lift onto the supplied wall bracket or table stand, and the single USB Type-C cable carries both video and data to the host PC. The most common issue is forgetting to connect the 12 VDC 5 A power adapter, which leaves the unit unresponsive until power is applied.

Questions about this item

What display connection does the Poly Studio USB video bar need to show its 3840 x 2160 camera feed?

It connects through the USB Type-C 5Gbps port to a host computer running Microsoft Teams or Zoom, which then drives the external display.

Will the GC8 controller still pair with the video bar if I keep an older Poly microphone on the same table?

The GC8 controller pairs directly with the included Studio USB video bar; additional microphones connect through the optional line-in port without interfering with the controller link.

How can I confirm the six-element beamforming array is tracking voices correctly after installation?

Open the Poly Lens desktop app or the Teams device settings and watch the on-screen microphone beam indicator move as participants speak around the room.
