CX3000 IP Conference Phone for Microsoft Lync

The Polycom CX3000 is a corded IP conference station designed for meeting rooms that use Microsoft Lync 2010 Phone Edition. It delivers full-duplex, hands-free speakerphone performance with HD Voice technology and acoustic echo cancellation. The unit includes a 12-foot microphone pickup range so every participant is heard clearly.

3.5 in TFT colour display with Lync integration

A 3.5 inch TFT colour display provides status, enhanced contact cards and directory information directly on the device. Microsoft Outlook phonebook compatibility lets users access contacts without leaving the Lync interface. Navigation keys, mute, hold and volume controls are all available on the handset.

USB connectivity and included software

The station connects via an included USB cable and ships with the required software for Lync 2010 deployment. It requires a compatible USB port and the Lync environment to operate as intended. This frees the room from separate analogue wiring while keeping the conferencing hardware self-contained.

Questions about this item

How does the 12-foot microphone pickup range perform when the CX3000 is placed on a real conference table?

The 12-foot pickup lets every participant sit naturally around the table and be heard clearly without leaning toward the unit.

What does the corded Voice over IP connection cap in practice for call quality and reliability?

The wired VoIP link delivers consistent bandwidth for HD Voice audio, avoiding the dropouts or jitter that can affect wireless alternatives.

What does the 3.5 inch TFT color display need on the desk to sit securely?

The unit rests on its own base; the 3.5 inch display is built into the console so no separate mount or bracket is required.
