Build-Your-Own Bluetooth Speaker Radio

This STEM kit lets children aged 8 to 12 assemble a working Bluetooth speaker and FM radio covering 87 to 108 MHz. The set uses precision laser-cut plywood pieces that fit together without glue. It arrives in individual packaging with all components needed for the single project.

Suits curious builders who want hands

Children who prefer ready-to-play toys without assembly steps will not find this engaging. Households looking for a multi-project collection should consider other options because the box contains only one complete build. No soldering or advanced tools are required.

FM reception range 87 to 108 MHz

The radio tunes across the full FM broadcast band from 87 to 108 MHz. This single specification tells you whether the finished unit will pick up the local stations you expect. Bluetooth connectivity is also included for wireless audio streaming.

Questions about this item

What Bluetooth device do I need to pair with the speaker to stream audio?

Any smartphone, tablet or computer with Bluetooth can pair to the Poraxy STEM Kit PODIY007 speaker for wireless playback.

Will the FM radio still tune stations if I keep an older analogue radio nearby?

Yes, the kit's FM receiver covers 87-108 MHz independently, so a second radio does not affect tuning.

How can I confirm the speaker and radio are working after assembly?

Pair a phone via Bluetooth and play music, then switch to FM mode and scan for a clear station between 87 and 108 MHz.
