Complete 390-piece household tool kit

This Porter-Cable set supplies 390 pieces for daily home maintenance. The kit includes adjustable wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, a 16oz hammer, 16-feet tape measure, scissors, utility knife and an 80-piece magnetic bit driver assortment. A 12-inch mini saw frame and hex keys from 1.5 to 6 millimetres and 1/16 to 1/4 inch are also provided. Everything packs into a 14-inch wide mouth bag.

Suits DIY owners needing one grab-and-go kit

Homeowners and renters who want a single bag covering common fastening, measuring and cutting tasks will find the range practical. The 5.7 kilogram assembled weight and padded shoulder strap make it manageable for room-to-room jobs. Buyers who need specialised automotive sockets, power-tool accessories or a larger hardware inventory should look at dedicated trade sets instead.

14-inch wide mouth bag

The freestanding bag opens 14 inches wide for quick tool identification. Six interior pockets and six exterior pockets organise the 390 pieces while plastic base pads resist abrasion. An adjustable shoulder strap and padded hand strap allow comfortable carrying of the 5.7 kilogram load. Part number TP100654 identifies this exact configuration.

Questions about this item

Which pieces in the 390-piece set will wear out or need replacing first?

The 80-piece bit set, utility-knife blades and hex keys are the consumables that will dull or break with heavy use; the 16 oz hammer, pliers and adjustable wrenches are drop-forged heat-treated steel and last much longer.

What is the first limit you hit when using the 14-inch wide-mouth bag fully loaded every day?

The bag weighs 5.7 kg when assembled and the padded shoulder strap and hand strap become the comfort limit before the 12 internal and external pockets run out of space.

Does the tool bag get hot or noisy when carried all day on a job site?

The bag itself is passive fabric and plastic-bottomed pads, so it generates no heat or noise; only the 5.7 kg weight on the adjustable shoulder strap affects comfort during extended carry.
