Emergency mixing valve for lavatories and showers
The Powers ES150-10 blends hot and cold water to deliver a controlled supply between 60 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit. It is intended for installations that require scald protection at the point of use.
Flow range 1 to 8.7 gpm at 125 psi maximum pressure
The valve operates within a cold inlet range of 40 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit and accepts hot inlet up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Half inch NPT connections on both sides limit the practical flow capacity to the rated 8.7 gpm.
Bronze body with half inch NPT inlet and outlet
The 3 7/8 inch height and 7 3/4 inch width fit standard rough in cavities for lavatories and showers. Bronze construction resists corrosion in potable water systems and meets ASSE 1071 requirements for emergency fixture mixing valves.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the ES150-10 or a different capacity for my emergency fixtures?
The ES150-10 handles 1 to 8.7 gpm, matching lavatories and showers that fall in that flow range.
What does the 8.7 gpm rating mean once the valve is installed?
It is the maximum mixed-water flow the valve can deliver while keeping outlet temperature within the 60 to 95 Degrees F range.
How does the ASSE 1071 standard limit what this valve can do?
ASSE 1071 certifies the valve for emergency eyewash and drench shower use, capping outlet temperature at 95 Degrees F and requiring cold inlet between 40 and 80 Degrees F.
