Thermostatic Mixing Valve 127 GPM
The Powers LFSH1434 thermostatic mixing valve blends hot and cold water to a controlled outlet temperature. It is built for commercial and institutional plumbing systems that require lead-free bronze construction and ASSE 1017 compliance. Installers use it where a single valve must serve multiple fixtures at once.
Bronze Body NPT Inlets 1-1/4 1-1/2
The valve body is bronze with NPT threads on both sides. Cold inlet accepts 1-1/4 inch pipe while the hot inlet and mixed outlet use 1-1/2 inch connections. This arrangement fits existing copper or steel piping without adapters and leaves wall space clear for insulation and access panels.
Temperature Range 90-160 Degrees F 125 PSI
The valve delivers 127 gallons per minute at 45 psi differential and handles supply pressures up to 125 psi. It maintains outlet temperatures between 90 and 160 degrees Fahrenheit when cold supply sits between 40 and 80 degrees and hot supply between 120 and 180 degrees. Systems demanding higher flow or tighter temperature tolerance will exceed its capacity.

Questions about this item
What flow rate can the LFSH1434 sustain at 45 psi inlet pressure?
The valve delivers 127 gpm at 45 psi, which is its rated capacity under that condition.
How much heat does the bronze body radiate when the valve runs continuously at 125 psi?
The bronze body dissipates heat passively; no active cooling is required and surface temperature follows the mixed-water output.
Which pipe threads must the installer provide to connect the 1 1/4 in NPT inlet and 1 1/2 in NPT outlet?
Matching 1 1/4 in NPT male threads on the cold and hot supply lines and 1 1/2 in NPT male threads on the downstream piping.
