Questions about this item

How do I install the PowerWarehouse 3M MP8635 replacement lamp, and which step is often missed?

Power down the projector, allow it to cool completely, remove the lamp cover, unscrew the old module, insert the new DT00205 unit firmly until it clicks, replace the cover, then reset the lamp timer in the menu — skipping the timer reset is the step most people miss.

What maintenance will the PowerWarehouse 3M MP8635 lamp need during its 2000-hour life?

Clean the projector air filters every few months to prevent overheating; the ZU0261 04 4010 lamp itself requires no maintenance until it reaches end of life, at which point you replace the entire module.
