Direct OEM Replacement Lamp

The PowerWarehouse lamp replaces Hitachi CP-X880 projector modules using OEM numbers DT00531, PRJ-RLC-005, 456-238, 78-6969-9601-2 and ZU 0289 04 4010. It is a new unit built to match the original equipment specifications. Installers can swap the module without adapter kits or firmware changes.

Steady Output Over Extended Hours

The lamp maintains consistent brightness during long presentations or classroom sessions rather than fading after a short warm-up period. Thermal design supports stable operation across repeated on-off cycles. It is not suited for users needing higher lumen output than the CP-X880 chassis was engineered to deliver.

Questions about this item

How much power does the CP-X880 lamp draw during extended daily use?

The replacement lamp is designed to match the original DT00531 power profile, so the projector's existing power supply handles the load without extra draw.

Does the lamp ship with a new housing or only the bare bulb for the Hitachi CP-X880?

It arrives as a complete module — bulb inside the correct housing — so you simply swap the old unit without reusing any original parts.
