Compatible projector models

This replacement lamp fits NEC NP-P502H, NP-502HD, NP-P502W and NP502WJD projectors. It also matches the DUKANE 456-6650WA and IMAGEPRO 6650HDA units. The module replaces OEM part number NP39LP directly. It is intended for venues that need a like-for-like light source.

Sustained brightness stability

The lamp delivers consistent output across its rated life when the projector cooling system is clean. Dust buildup on filters causes the lamp to run hotter and dim faster. Regular filter maintenance preserves brightness for the full service interval.

Tool-free cage installation

The unit ships as a complete cage assembly so the old module slides out and the new one locks in without tools. The most common error is seating the cage incompletely, which prevents the projector from striking the lamp. A firm click confirms correct engagement.

Questions about this item

How much power does the NP39LP lamp draw during extended daily use?

The NP39LP is a direct replacement for the original NEC NP39LP lamp, so it draws the same power as the factory module when installed in the NP-P502H, NP-502HD, NP-P502W or NP502WJD projector.

Does the NP39LP ship with the cage installed so I can swap it without extra tools?

Yes, the package includes the cage and replacement bulb pre-assembled, matching the OEM NP39LP form factor for a direct swap.

Will the NP39LP work in my older Dukane 456-6650WA without firmware updates?

The NP39LP fits the Dukane 456-6650WA and ImagePro 6650HDA exactly as it fits the NEC NP-P502H series, requiring no projector firmware changes.
