Compatible UPS Battery Cartridge

The PowerWarehouse RBC23-PW is a direct replacement for APC Battery Cartridge #23. It fits the listed SU and SUA 1000 series rack-mount UPS units including SU1000RM2U and SUA1000RMI2U. The cartridge arrives new and ready to install without additional configuration.

Build Quality and Mounting

The unit uses a maintenance-free sealed lead-acid design that is leak proof for safe handling. Its dimensions of 13.50" L x 8.50" W x 3.25" H match the original cartridge footprint for direct rack mounting. At 22 LBS the cartridge requires two-person lifting or mechanical aid during installation.

Sealed Lead-Acid Limits

Sealed lead-acid chemistry delivers reliable backup but degrades with deep discharge cycles and elevated temperatures. Runtime decreases gradually as the battery ages beyond the 18 month warranty period. The cartridge does not support hot-swap replacement while the UPS remains online.
