Three-port HDMI matrix

The PPA International 3 Port HDMI Switch with Built-in Cable is a compact matrix that lets three HDMI sources share one display without unplugging cables. It handles 1080p video at 12-bit deep colour and passes HDCP and uncompressed LPCM audio through a single integrated lead. Plug-and-play operation means no driver installation is required for immediate use.

Home-theatre and PC users needing simple source

Buyers who want to toggle between a console, a media player and a computer on one screen will find the key-press or intelligent switching convenient. The unit only supports 1920 x 1080 maximum resolution, so anyone needing 4K or higher refresh rates should look elsewhere. It also lacks remote control and external power input, limiting placement flexibility.

Stable 2.5 Gbps per channel bandwidth under load

Each of the three channels sustains 250 MHz or 2.5 Gbps, giving 7.5 Gbps total throughput for continuous 1080p 3D at 23.98, 24, 50 or 60 Hz. Deep-colour 36-bit streams remain intact during extended sessions because the fixed cable eliminates connector resistance. No active cooling is present, so prolonged maximum-bandwidth use relies on passive heat dissipation alone.

Questions about this item

What display resolution and cable type does my monitor need to work with this 1080p HDMI switch?

The switch outputs up to 1920 x 1080 resolution over HDMI, so your display must accept a 1080p HDMI signal; DVI monitors work with an HDMI-to-DVI adapter.

Will my older DVI-only source device connect through this 3-port switch?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with DVI devices when you use an HDMI-to-DVI adapter on the source side.

How can I confirm the 3D 1080p signal is passing correctly after I connect everything?

Play a 1080p 3D title at 23.98/24 Hz or 50/60 Hz; if the TV shows the 3D format indicator and audio plays in uncompressed LPCM, the 2.5 Gbps per channel link is working.
