Indie action-RPG with 16-bit aesthetic

Aggelos is a downloadable PC game published by PQube Limited and developed by Storybird Games. It delivers a non-linear adventure in the Metroidvania tradition, releasing on Steam on 18 June 2018. The title targets players who enjoy exploration-focused action-RPGs with retro-inspired visuals and modern gameplay depth.

Sprawling kingdom with ability-gated progression

The world spans forests, seas, cave systems and ancient temples that unlock as you acquire new powers. Mainline quests and optional odd-jobs for Lumen’s residents provide structured goals alongside free exploration. Players who want a linear, story-driven campaign or multiplayer modes will not find them here.
