What Is It

This Prang Standard modeling clay set contains four individually wrapped sticks in red, yellow, green and blue. Each stick weighs 0.25 pounds for a total of one pound. The clay is non-toxic, non-hardening and remains pliable during extended use. It is intended for adults and children developing finger strength and motor skills through sculpting.

When the Jump Is Worth It

The set replaces loose bulk clay or single-color packs by giving four distinct hues in pre-measured portions. The jump is worth it when a project needs immediate color variety without mixing, or when a classroom or studio wants consistent quarter-pound units for repeated exercises. The non-hardening formula means the material stays reusable across multiple sessions.

What to Check Before Ordering

Confirm that non-hardening clay suits the intended outcome, since pieces will not cure into permanent objects. Verify that the total one-pound quantity matches the project scale. Ensure the user is comfortable with a product designed for hand-building rather than wheel-throwing or kiln-firing. The manufacturer references a Prang Power program for free supplies.
